Bruce Springsteen handwrote this birthday note to his long time cook and friend Obie on a gift card for a florist in Hazlet, New Jersey. On the envelope he wrote "To Obie, my one True love" and on the card he wrote "Sorry it's so late but I'm always thinking of you, Love Bruce" in blue ballpoint. Bruce and Obie knew each other for many years and were very close. The card measures 3.5 x 2.5 and the envelope is slightly larger at 4.5 x 3. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
