Bruce Springsteen handwrote this note to his cook and long time friend Obie, signing it "Bossenheimer Creeper Jones" in blue ballpoint pen on a 12 x 9 large brown envelope. Apparently Springsteen had come home early, writing "Obie, Hi! Came Back early sorry I surprise you!!" Bruce and Obie were very close, for many years. Bruce handwrote the note on the back of a large 12 x 9 envelope that had been addressed to Jimmy Iovine with a return address of "Van Zandt 22H" - perhaps in E Street Band Member's Stevie Van Zandt's own hand. Iovine, a record and film producer who was is the co-founder of Interscope Geffen Records and chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M began his career in the early 1970's working with Bruce on "Born To Run", and then later on "Darkness on the Edge of Town" and "The River". Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
