Madonna wore this 1940’s two-piece skirt suit as her character Eva Peron in her 1996 film “Evita”. The outfit consists of a black jacket made of a heavy faille with grey satin lining and silver metal mesh buttons, and a matching skirt. The jacket has the original sewn in label from the production that reads “Madonna”. Madonna wore this outfit onscreen during the musical number “And the Money Kept Rolling In” where Eva gets out of a car end enters the headquarters of her newly established “Fundacion Ayuda Social”. Very good, screen worn condition. The dress is accompanied by photos from the film showing Madonna wearing the dress and a letter of authenticity from Palace Costumes signed by Melody Barnett.
