This is Madonna's personal 1998 MTV Video Music Award for “Video of Year” for "Ray of Light". The 1998 MTV Video Music Awards were held on September 10, 1998 at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, California. The "Ray of Light" video was directed by Jonas Åkerlund and Madonna's scenes were shot on March 25 and 26, 1998 at Raleigh Studios and at a nightclub in downtown Los Angeles. The images of various cities include New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Stockholm, Sweden. The video was so popular that it won all the major categories at the MTV Video Music Awards in 1998: Video of the Year, Best Female Video, Best Direction, Best Editing, and Best Choreography. In 1999, it also won Best Short Form Music Video at the Grammy Awards. The video also released as a limited edition video single on June 23, 1998. There were two official remix videos created by Dan-O-Rama in 1998 titled the "Sasha Ultra Violet Mix" and the "Calderone Mix" which contain unreleased footage from the video shoot. Excellent condition. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Madonna's management company Semtexgirls, on their letterhead, signed by Angela Becker.
