This original Baltimore Orioles lineup card was used by the Orioles during their home game played at Baltimore’s Memorial Stadium on July 18, 1959 against the Detroit Tigers. The card has been completed by hand featuring all lineup changes made throughout the game and signed by Orioles Manager Paul Richards, in blue ink. Hall of Famer Brooks Robinson, considered by many to be the greatest third baseman ever to play the game of baseball is in the line-up. After being demoted to the minors in April of 1959, Robinson was brought back up to the Majors in July. This is one of the first games back in which he was in the starting line-up. Nicknamed “Human Vacuum Cleaner” for his outstanding glove at third base his career as an Oriole spanned 1955-1977. Very good condition.
