Lot of 3 Apollo 11 Original Photographs. The first is an Apollo 11 Pickup Operations Original Wire Photograph. Apollo 11 astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins are seen here waiting in a rubber boat alongside their spacecraft just after they have landed in the ocean as "frogmen" pull their raft toward therm during pickup operations. The UPI wire story, dated July 25, 1969, appears on the front and the UPI photo credit is stamped on the verso. The second is Apollo 11 Astronaut Michael Collins Official NASA Original Wire Photograph. The wire story, a biography of Collins, and NASA photo credit and logo is stamped on the verso. The thrid original photograph is of Apollo 11 On the Launch Pad. The Apollo 11 spacecraft gleams starkly against the black night in this 8 x 10 black and white original wire photograph. Taken on July 13, 1969, just three days before liftoff of the historic mission, the UPI wire story appears on the front with the UPI photo credit stamped on the verso. Very good condition.
