The B-52's Kate Pierson wore this blue dress that was bought in Japan specially for her album "NiNa". Size 6. NiNa is a six-piece group formed in 1999 with Kate, bassist Mick Karn (of Japan), vocalist Yuki Isoya (of Judy and Mary), Takemi Shima and Masahide Sakuma (both of The Plastics), and session drummer Steven Wolf. The group's sole album was "NiNa", From the 30-second opening track, which starts with ominous techno music and ends with Yuki and Pierson exclaiming "Hello everybody nice to meet you we're NiNa," the band's eponymous and only album is very diverse. All clothing sold as is. Comes with a signed letter of provenance from Kate Pierson with photo of Kate wearing the dress as well as a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity. Proceeds to benefit cats and dogs!
