Lady Gaga wore this floor length, burgundy velvet robe with a gathered shawl lapel, fur cuffs, panels down the back and belt as her character The Countess on “American Horror Story: Hotel”, Season 5, Episode 11 “Battle Royale”. Gaga wore the robe in the scene when her character is recovering in her Cortez Hotel penthouse after being shot multiple times by “Iris” (Kathy Bates) and “Liz Taylor” (Denis O’Hare). In the scene, “Ramona Royale” (Angela Bassett) confronts her with the intention of killing her, but The Countess (Gaga) convinces “Ramona” to spare her life. This robe that Gaga wears as The Countess is perfect for her character - a bloodsucking vampire fashionista! Rented directly from Palace Costume Company by the show’s production company. Overall very good condition with some light screen-worn wear. Comes with a letter of authenticity from the Golden Closet and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
