President John F. Kennedy and former President Dwight D. Eisenhower are pictured here during a photo session prior to a White House luncheon in honor of Japanese Prime Minister Hayato Ikeda in this 9 x 7 black and white original UPI wire photograph stamped on the verso. Dated June 21, 1961, the wire story on the front refers to the Kennedy and Eisenhower holding a private conference earlier, and that Kennedy put aside his crutches "long enough to play host at the luncheon." Very good condition. Comes with a certificate of authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll® Certificate of Authenticity.
