Jimi Hendrix owned and stage worn white and black rabbit fur armband from the Mike Quashie Jimi Hendrix Collection. Hendrix is pictured here with a hat, virtually identical to this one, under his arm. Matthew "Michael" Quashie was known as the Limbo King and was an early champion of the young Hendrix, often letting him crash at his Bedford Street apartment in Greenwich Village, New York City, which became known as “Jimi’s Hideaway” after Hendrix’s death Hendrix gave Quashie the armband when he was staying at the Bedford Street apartment. It is believed that it was Quashi who influenced Hendrix's "voo-doo" and fire aspects of his persona. Very good condition. Comes with a letter from Mike Quashie and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
