Jimi Hendrix owned and worn brown suede and silver coin "concho" hat. From the collection of the late Irwin Pate, who passed away in 2018. Pate was a renowned booking agent and promotional manager for over four decades. He promoted talent all over the United States. Durng his long career, Pate and his wife Clarine Pate, obtained a large colleciton of personal clothing and articles belonging to numerous entertainers. When travelling on concert tours, Pate would often obtain many of these articles from both tour crew members and venue staff. This suede and silver coin "concho" hat was given to a venue employee by Jimi Hendrix. According to the employee he traded it with a few other items for some "personal stuff" that Jimi needed. Later, Pate was able to purchase the hate from the crew member for his collection, and it has been in the Pate collection since that time. Comes with a letter from Pate's widow, Clarine Pate, on PBA Pate Booking Agency letterhead stating that this hat was owned and worn by Jimi Hendrix, and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
