Doors front man Jim Morrison has handwritten this working spoken poem/lyrics titled "TAPE NOON" on 7 x 11.5 ledger paper in black ink. This spoken poem came from the "Fascination" trunk - a trunk filled with Morrison's personal belongings that he had in his last days in Paris. Morrison has written "Mystery of the dream. A woman or girl is trying to appear. The killer - Mexican, naked except for shoes. People, a family not connected move at hypnotic cross lines out of still frame. Two men, detectives, following searching, sifting thru back & side-lit rooms, hlding muted counsel. Hats, suits. Brothers." The "final" version of this spoken poem/song appears in The Lost Paris Tape, a recorded collection of Morrison's unedited poems and songs that were never officially released to the public. Most of the recordings were made in Los Angeles in February 1969, and Morrison took the tapes with him to Paris where they were found among his belongings after his death. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
