Elvis Presley also famously covered the song. Eddie Hammer was a writer for Goldmine and Discoveries magazines, he was an Elvis expert and was a paid guest speaker at many of the Elvis conventions in Memphis and all over the world. This piece has an amazing provenance from someone who was also considered an expert.
