James Browns owned and worn pumpkin orange sweater with black piping. A very handsome sweater, with the Leonardo Strassi label. Brown gifted the pants to his famed booking and promotional manager Irwin Pate, who is perhaps best known for his work and close friendship with Brown from the late 1960's until the early 1980's. Very good condition. The sweater comes with a letter of provenance from Irwin Pate's widow on "James Brown Productions" letterhead and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
