First FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover has signed and inscribed this photograph of himself dated "5 . 5. 48". The inscription reads, "To Gordon Smith/ Best wishes". Hoover served as the Director of the FBI for nearly fifty years and under eight different Presidents. Good condition with a few visible creases/wrinkles bout its perimeter. 9 X 11.5. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
