The Beatles played the Star-Club in Hamburg, Germany for the first time ever on April 13, 1962. This original "Kassenbericht" account book from the Star-Club shows the first payment they ever received from the club, as is noted on the page dated "13.4.1962" where the payment is notated at the bottom "Brian Epstein -600- ". Brian Epstein was the band's manager who catapulted them into being the biggest band in rock history. This club account book bears a blue cover with the dates "3.4.62 - 15.4.62" (April 3, 1962 through April 15, 1962) and has 50 pages of various payment entries. Measures approximately 11.5 x 8.25. From the Gunter Zint, Ulf Kruger Collection. Good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
