American Pulitzer Prize winning poet Gwendolyn Brooks has signed this brochure of an event in which she spoke. Brooks was a revolutionary poet throughout the 20th Century, becoming the first African American to win the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1950 and held the title of Poet Laureate of Illinois for 32 years.
