Buffalo Bill Cody signed typewritten letter dating from 1913 made on the letterhead of his pioneering Wild West show following his days as a famed soldier and bison hunter. Signed “W. F. Cody,” in black fountain pen. Cody served as a Union soldier during the American Civil War followed by his little-known achievement of receiving the Medal of Honor in 1872 for his service as a civilian scout for the US Army during the Indian Wars. Very good condition mounted on light card stock with light visible from lines from mailing. 8.5 X 5.5. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) Letter of Authenticity and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
