George Harrison has handwritten this two-page letter to Astrid Kirchherr on blue stationery in black ink. The two pages are back to back on one sheet of stationery. Excellent provenance as this letter appears on page 174 of the book "Hamburg Days" by Astrid Kirchherr and Klaus Voormann from Genesis Publications. Great content as George speaks of their busy schedule having just finished recording "Please Please Me", he writes: “We made our first long-playing record about two weeks ago..” George also discusses other current bands as well as John and Paul, his recent 20th birthday, and the band's upcoming vacation in Tenerife, Spain. Measures 5.25 x 7. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
