This 8 X 10 black and white vintage photograph is signed in character "For Forrest from Dr. Jekyll," in blue ballpoint pen by actor Frederic March who played the dual role of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in the 1931 horror film classic by the same name for which March won the Academy Award for Best Actor. Forrest refers to Forrest Ackerman, legendary science fiction fan, author, actor, producer (Vampirella) and literary agent of many of the science fiction greats. He is most noted for his extremely large and complete collection of science-fiction and memorabilia, and is credited with originating the term "Sci-fi. "Very good condition.
