This is the original proof photograph used in the design and creation of one of the exhibit arcade cards of the iconic Frank Sinatra from the celebrity exhibit card set manufactured during the fifties. The 8 X 10 black and white photograph used for his depiction is an original publicity photograph from the 1957 film "Pal Joey," for which Sinatra won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor-Motion Picture Musical or Comedy. Sinatra starred with Rita Hayworth and Kim Novak playing the role of Joey Evans, a second rate singer whose womanizing helps him open a nightclub. The photograph is facsimile signed and inscribed "Sincerely Frank Sinatra," with a translucent overlay to the photograph outlining the signature placement and image crop in the design of the exhibit card. An actual exhibit card rendered from the proof accompanies it. Interestingly, the cards ultimate release was printed with a facsimile signature true to Sinatra's own signature, signed "Yours Truly." This is truly a one-of-a-kind Sinatra collectable from this vintage card set made during the pinnacle of his fabulous career. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
