From the Farley Granger Collection. These three books belonged to Farley Granger and have been signed and inscribed by the authors (except for "Profiles" which has a note from Rose Kennedy). The "Age of Anxiety" appears to have a handwritten poem by the author W.H. Auden that he has signed with is first initial, in black ink. The "Profiles In Courage" book by John F. Kennedy includes a handwritten, or printed, note from Rose Kennedy that was pasted on the inside reading "With best wishes to my friends in England, Rose F. Kennedy" in black ink. Granger has also written on the inside of the book "Paris, November 7, 1972, Nixon is Elected" in blue ballpoint pen. The Shelly Winters autobiography has been signed and inscribed by Winters to Granger, in which she writes the he is her "fulcrum in the otherwise unbalanced world" in red felt tip marker.
