Elvis Presley's "Change of Habit" film worn and personally owned Sy Devore custom navy blue long- sleeve pullover V-neck shirt with pointed collars and button cuffs. With the Sy Devore custom label, this was one of the shirts Elvis wore in his final feature film co-starring with Mary Tyler Moore. Elvis played an inner-city doctor named Dr. John Carpenter, a name he would often use in later years when traveling on flights and in hotels. Elvis, who was known to be incredibly generous to his friends and employees, often given away his clothing, jewelry and accessories to them, gifted this shirt to his long- time friend "Memphis Mafia" member Sonny West, whose many duties included being Elvis's bodyguard. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Sonny West, photos of Elvis from the film, and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
