An Elvis Presley owned and worn blue, white and green checked long-sleeved button down shirt. The shirt came from the home of Elvis' father Vernon Presley at 1266 Dolan Drive, which is adjacent to Graceland along the southeastern wall. Elvis had a gate installed so that he could walk directly from his backyard to his father's house. After Elvis' divorce in 1973 he would spend more time at his father's to escape Graceland for a bit and they would stay up late at night talking. After Elvis dies, Vernon sold the house to Hobart and Bonnie Burnette who owned the Hickory Log Restaurant across the street from Graceland. This shirt was directly purchased from the Burnette's. Very good condition. Comes with a letter of authenticity, a photo of Elvis wearing the same shirt, or one very similar to it, and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
