Elvis Presley's owned and worn brown suede fringe concho belt with red stones that was picked out for him by his wife Priscilla. Elvis gave the belt to his friend Patti Parry, the only female member of Elvis' "Memphis Mafia", whom he often referred to as his "little sister". Patti often styled Elvis' hair as his hairdresser, she styled it for the Aloha from Hawaii Special. In very good condition, the belt comes with a very detailed letter about Elvis and how Priscilla would pick out many of his belts, including this one, starting in late 1969, and how he loved everything she picked out. Patti writes that he wore this particular belt often and when she remarked how stunning it looked on him he gave it to her the next time he saw her. The belt is from Elvis' "slimmer" period, fitting him when his waist was approximately 30". According to Bill Belew, who was Elvis' costume designer, Elvis' basic measurements were chest 42, waist 30, height 5'11 1/2" and shoe size 9. In addition to the letter from Patti, and a printed article of an interview with Belew where he discusses Elvis' size, the belt also comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
