Elvis Presley's personally owned original Shelby County Sheriff's badge and ID that was presented to him by the department. Elvis, always prodding the local sheriff for a higher rank badge, was made a Special Deputy Sheriff of Shelby County on July 13, 1973 by Sheriff Roy Nixon. In very good condition, and in the original wallet, the badge comes with a reproduction of Elvis' 1970 Shelby County Sheriff's Office ID and a group photo of Elvis, his guys, and former Sheriff Bill Morris and then current Sheriff Roy Nixon holding Shelby County badges. Also accompanied by a Roy Nixon ashtray and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll® Certificate of Authenticity.
