An Elvis Presley owned and worn cowboy hat that he has hand-written his initials on in blue ballpoint pen on the underside of the brim. Elvis wore this hat at his Cirlce G Ranch. Elvis owned the range from approximately 1967 to 1974, and considered it his "retreat." The ranch is located just ten miles south of Graceland in Horn Lake, Mississippi and was where Elvis and Priscilla spent their honeymoon after they returned from Las Vegas, in their "Honeymoon Cottage" on the land. Elvis's ranch also had stables where he and Priscilla kept their horses, a 14-acre lake and a prominent 55-foot cross. The hat was originally given to Stephanie Spruill by Elvis's long time friend "Memphis Mafia" member Alan Fortas, and it was subsequently obtained by Victoria Ansterich who purchased the hat from Stephanie. Elvis is pictured here, atop one of his horses at the ranch, wearing a very similar cowboy hat. Very good condition. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
