Elvis Presley's personally owned and worn Sy Devore light green short-sleeved shirt that he wore in the 1960's. Elvis is pictured here wearing a very similar shirt. Elvis purchased the shirt during one of his many Las Vegas trips that he began in the making in the mid-1950's to the early 1960's. This shirt was purchased by Elvis at one of his favorite men's clothiers' shops (next to Lansky Brothers of course), Sy Devore. Sy Devore designed much of Elvis Presley's movie wardrobe for several films including "Viva Las Vegas." Elvis purchased this shirt at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas and it bears the label "Sy Devore the Sands Hollywood Las Vegas." Elvis, known for his generosity, often gave his clothing, jewelry and accessories to his family, friends and even sometimes to fans. Elvis gave this shirt to his Aunt, Delta Biggs. Very good condition. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Delta Biggs and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
