Offered here is the Beach Boys Guild 12 string serial # GJ100001, the very 1st F45 Guild built, given to Carl Wilson who gave it to Jeff Foskett (also a Beach Boy and took Carl's place when he passed). Jeff then sold the guitar through Norman’s Rare Guitars in Tarzan, CA. The consignor spoke with Jeff Foskett about the guitar and Jeff said that guild gave the very 1st F45 production model to Carl because they were Beach Boy fans, and it is common practice for Fender to give artists their own brand guitar, especially if it is serial number 1. The guitar plays beautifully and is a must-have for any serious Beach Boys collector. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Norman’s Rare Guitars, a Letter of Provenance and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
