Signed cachet envelope commemorating the U.S. flight crew selection for the historic 1975 ASTP mission which was the first international space mission carried out jointly by the United States and the Soviet Union when an Apollo module docked with a Soviet Union Soyuz capsule. The 6.5 X 3.5 envelope is postmarked January 30, 1973 from Houston and is signed by the pictured U.S. crew, Thomas Stafford, Commander; Donald Slayton, Docking Module Pilot; and Vance Brand, Command Module Pilot. Signed in blue and black ballpoint pens. Excellent condition. Comes with James Spence Authentication (JSA) and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
