Soviet cosmonaut Alexei Leonov signed this First Day Cover baring the United States 1975 Apollo-Soyuz postage stamp and a USSR postage stamp with its’ space design displaying a painting by Leonov who in 1965 was the first man to walk in space and was a member of the Soyuz crew during the historic 1975 Apollo-Soyuz mission; the first international space mission carried out jointly by the United States and the Soviet Union when an Apollo module docked with a Soviet Union Soyuz capsule. The envelope is captioned “Stamp Artist in Space.” Signed in bold black sharpie. 6.5 X 3.75. Very good condition. Comes with a James Spence Authentication (JSA) and a Gotta Have Rock and Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
