Tom Brady, arguably the NFLs GOAT had a less than auspicious beginning to his career playing football in college with the Michigan Wolverines. Playing in only two games as a freshman in 1996, Brady threw his first pass during a blow-out victory against UCLA which was intercepted and returned for a touchdown. Brady had to fight his way onto the field from his 7th position on the quarterback depth chart. Earning starts during his junior and senior seasons, despite platooning at times with Drew Henson, Brady worked his way into Michigan’s passing record books – ranked 10th at Michigan in career touchdowns passes (35), ninth in career passing yards (5,351) and tied for fourth in career 200-yard games (15). But it wasn’t until September 12,1998 in a game played at Michigan Stadium against Syracuse led by quarterback Donovan McNabb that the Brady legacy began. It was during this game, playing to a 38-28 loss to Syracuse (who were 10 point underdogs by the way) that Tom Brady threw his very FIRST TOUCHDOWN pass for the University of Michigan connecting on a 4 yard completion to Tai Streets. Offered here is a very rare ticket stub to this historic game in the career of Tom Brady. One of a limited number of tickets only available to students, this ticket has survived the test of time, surviving for more than 20 years. A must have for any Tom Brady fan or collector of milestone tickets. As a matter of fact, a much more common non-student ticket stub, graded by PSA sold at a major auction house late last year for more than $3,000.00. Memorabilia such as this can only appreciate over time. Center crease and light stain on verso. Fair condition. 4 X 2. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
