Graded GD 2 by SGC. National Soccer Hall of Fame and International Football Hall of Famer, in a widely pursued, Brazilian-issue Rookie Card appearance. Pele shines on this Editora Aquarela LTDA collectible dating to the year of his legendary first FIFA World Cup triumph with Brazil. The Santos FC prodigy scored a pair of goals in the tournament’s final game, leading Brazil to a 5-2 defeat of host nation Sweden. The only player to win three World Cups, Pele was the only teenager to score in the FIFA World Cup Final until Kylian Mbappe netted for France in 2018. A black “10” is located on the card’s back. Considered to be the much rarer “1st” edition of the card, the black is much more desirable than the common blue. In our opinion one of the nicest 2’s on the market, the colors pop and has little condition issues besides one minor crease. Presents very well.
