This is a 1957 Frank Crosetti game worn New York Yankees home pinstripe flannel jersey bearing his uniform number “2” since retired by the Yankees in honor of Derek Jeter. Crosetti wore number “2” during an expansive 17 year career playing with the Yankees (1932-1948) during which he earned six World Championships and later serving many years as a Yankee Coach (1946-1968), earned an additional eleven Championship rings. The jersey is tagged by the manufacturer “Spalding,” size “42” in the lower left tail beneath which “Crosetti,” “2” and “57” are chained stitched. The famed “NY” interlocking logo o front and uniform number “2” on back appear unaltered and original. Exhibiting fine wear, this is a chance to acquire a real Yankees home pinstripe flannel from a beloved Yankee player and Coach. Comes with a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity.
