This is an original ticket stub to game four of the 1956 World Series played between the New York Yankees and the Brooklyn Dodgers. Notably the Game was played at Yankee Stadium on October 7th and Mantle of course wearing his uniform number "7"; hit his seventh World Series homerun among his Major League World Series homerun record of eighteen. The Yankees defeated the defending World Champion Brooklyn Dodgers in this seven game series, but not before Mantle hit his third homerun of this Series in Game 5 in support of Yankees pitcher Don Larsen's victory upon pitching the only perfect game ever pitched in World Series history. For his contributions during this season Mantle was named Most Valuable Player (one of three times in his career) and was named winner of the 1956 Triple Crown Award. Very good condition.
