While the sweet spot signature of Joe DiMaggio is deemed to be clubhouse the ball includes the key signatures of hall of famers Phil Rizzuto, Ed Ford (Whitey Ford), Yogi Berra, Johnny Mize and Bill Dickey. A neatly penned ink notation “N.Y. Yankees 1950,” appears over the light Official American League stamp ball markings. The Yankees swept the Philadelphia Phillies in 4 games to win the 1950 World Championship.
